2013 STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL

Welcome to the eleventh annual student film festival hosted by the After Hours Film Society, a not-for- profit organization dedicated to the appreciation of cinema, both as an art form and as a medium of information and education. Our mission is to inspire, encourage, recognize and promote the work of emerging filmmakers. We are inviting all students everywhere to compete in our 2013 Say It in Eight Student Film Festival. In order to make our festival exceptionally challenging, we are asking entrants to create a complete film with a running time of 8 minutes or less for our consideration.All submissions will be judged by film professionals and educators who have a knowledge of and respect for creativity, originality, ambition and determination. Winning entries will be screened and generous cash prizes will be awarded at the After Hours Student Film Festival in October, 2013.
